HALL HORRORSApologies to all members for the sudden and unexpected change of venue for the last meeting. Unfortunately at the last hour the hall rejected our booking leaving no time to contact all members, so apologies to all those who could not get to the meeting in February! As we have been excommunicated and cannot meet at St Catherine's Church Hall a new hall has had to be hastily found as near as possible to Wimborne Town Centre.
(Would it be an idea to suggest a 'cascade or pyramid' phone call system in case an emergency arises in the future? Each person would phone one person and so on to let everyone know of any potential changes - this would save one person 25 phone calls. What do you think?)
AND NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS ...
We now have a venue accepted at Colehill Memorial Hall, Middlehill Rd, Colehill (Next to the Library and First School).
I think this hall will prove to be a superior Venue - it is much bigger for group work, we have it to ourselves - so part on down! There is a large car park, disabled access and toilets, a large kitchen and even a stage if anyone feels the urge to perform! ...And we have it booked for the year!
Wimborne Writers from now on will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month - so the next meeting will be held on Wednesday 21st March at 7.30 pm at Colehill Memorial Hall.
TRANSPORT TROUBLES
We understand some people preferred a Wimborne venue as they have difficulty with transport - the rest of us all travel through Wimborne and would gladly share lifts. So please contact me (Tracy) on the number below and I will ensure you are put in contact with someone who has offered to do this.

PUT IN YOUR DIARY ...

GOODBYE BEGINNERS ... HELLO WRITERS

LET THE WRITING COMMENCE!
Wimborne Writers have now organized a programme, venue, dealt with administrative issues and have a number of people helping to make it a successful and intersting meeting place for writers. So in the future we will be able to concentrate on being creative and a productive litarary outlet for the Wimborne area.
Look forward to seeing you all on the 21st March at Colehill.
