The Wimborne Writers' Club is new! They meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm at Colehill Memorial Hall, Middlehill Road, Colehill (next to the Library and First School).

After only a few meetings Wimborne are off to a great start. 28 people came to the first meeting and now there are more than thirty members already. Instead of having a 'Chairman' and 'Committee' they have formed an Editorial Group, with a Chief Editor (Dave Evans), a Scribe (Tracy Cooper) and various Editors for Poetry, Short Stories, Finance, Beginners etc.

Meetings consist of working and talking together as a group, followed by coffee (and much talk!), then breaking up into working parties who come back together at the end.

Wimborne Writers have a wide range of skills, ages, interests and are keen for it to be fun
