The Trowell & District Writers Trust
Members of the
National Association of Writers' Groups
Trowell and District Writers meet every Monday from 7.30 - 9.30 pm and also on Tuesdays from 10 am until noon at members' houses.
BI-MONTHLY COMPETITION
Poems up to 30 lines (any theme).
Short stories up to 2,000 words (any theme).Prize of £25 for both categories and publication in the autumn edition of the magazine "Chapter and Verse".
Rules:
1. Any theme.
2. Own work and unpublished.
3. Stories double spaced on A4 sized paper. 4. Name, address, postcode and telephone number on separate title page.
5. Poems single spaced.
6. All entries must be typed or word-processed.
7. Keep own copy of work as no manuscript will be returned.
8. Please send self-addressed and stamped postcard ifyou need proof of acceptance.
9. No limit to entries per person. Fees are £3 for each entry.
10. Make cheques payable to: Trowell and District Writers Trust.Closing date 8th March 2003
Results will be announced in May 2003 and winners will be notified by post.
