Tracey Prior runs the popular ‘Introduction to Screenwriting Course’, developed for the UK Film Council, several times a year in Berkshire.

The course is aimed at those seeking a comprehensive overview of the screenwriting process and provides a good base for anyone interested in building a career in screenwriting.

No previous experience is necessary. The course is built around a series of lectures, workshops, tutorials and short film screenings.

The course is a good mix of theory and practical study. During the course the students will take a project from ‘premise’ through ‘outline’ to ‘rough draft’ and finally, ‘revised draft’ stage.

Tracey recently completed a trainer course with Phil Parker, has a City and Guilds in Media Techniques, (Television and Video) and writes across a broad spectrum, having published a commercial greetings collection throughout the UK.
