Thameside Writers, formed in 1987, is now an international group. It meets the first Thursday of the month between 1pm and 4pm in West Molesey. It is also a mixed group writing poetry and prose. We take it in turn to run workshops and our writings are read to other members and we critique work.

We write mainly for our own pleasure and if someone wants to publish we welcome that too. The quality of our work is considered good. Authors and writing-teachers are frequently invited to run workshops and critique our writings.

The fee is currently £5 per meeting.

Thameside Writers welcome new members of all nationalities and we write in English. If you are a beginner you are especially welcome. Look forward to hearing from you!
