BECOME A TRAVEL WRITER

Travel writer Daniel Scott, a widely-published journalist of fifteen years and five continents experience, is offering the rare opportunity to learn the tricks of his trade, with a 5-day residential course held in the captivating Alpujarra mountains of southern Spain, some 90 minutes south of the city of Granada.

His course, which has had a rave review in The Guardian, is now in its fifth year and has been run previously in locations across the globe including London, Pau in France, Granada in Spain and Sydney, Australia.

The 6 day/5 night holiday includes four full days of tuition, all accommodation in a lovely 3 star hotel with a pool and gardens, some meals, welcome drinks & tapas and two guided mountain walks.

Jacqueline Crooks runs a writing retreat in the Andalucian village of Comares, up in the mountains. The accommodation is for writers who want to have a peaceful place to concentrate on their writing. Jacqueline has an MA in Creative & Life Writing from Goldsmiths and is working on her first book.

Comares is the highest pueblo in the region and was once a Moorish bastion, and there are lots of historical remains, lovely walks, a Celtic music and arts scene, and yoga.
