Petersfield Writers' Workshop
A workshop for serious and professional writers who want to share their work-in-progress, or completed but unpublished work, with other writers. If you are working on a novel, short story, play, screenscript or even articles and want critique, come along. We meet in an informal ambience with friendly people. All ages. 10 minutes walk to station. 5 minutes walk to centre of town. Small group. £1 donation for coffees, teas and biscuits. We're 'serious' about writing but don't exclude 'a good laugh' . Poetry Performance
'Write-Angle' presents the First and Only Open Mic Poetry Evenings, every second Thursday of each month (except in November when it's 15th) starting 13th Sept, upstairs at 'The Square Brewery', Petersfield, Hants. Petersfield Writing/Thinking Workshop
Have you ever asked someone 'What are you thinking about' and been told 'nothing'? Do you believe it? Does the mind ever stop? Even when you're sleeping? If it doesn't stop, WHAT'S GOING ON INSIDE???? Your mind started COLLECTING information even before you were born. Can you imagine how much must be stored in it at this moment? Think of it as a reservoir of crystal clear ideas, thoughts and fantasies constantly flowing, one into the other. BUT, trapped inside of us. Most of us live such a mad and frenzied pace, or routine and dull life, we just don't take the time to stop and think about TAPPING INTO THAT RESERVOIR AND DISCOVERING OUR OWN PRIVATE WORLD!

CREATIVE WRITING/THINKING is a two and a half hour 'Escape' from the PRESSURES of the outside world into the FANTASIES OF THE MIND! It is a fun and exciting way to put you in touch with yourself and give you awareness of the vast potential you have inside of you. Through music, conversation and games, in an informal group atmosphere, you will have the time and space to plug into, and share these ideas, fantasies, feelings and DISCOVER YOUR OWN CREATIVITY! Whether you've ever thought about writing, or just enjoying life more ... whatever ...
