Directory of Writers' Circles

Founded in 1999. Muskoka North Writers’ Circle meets on the third Wednesday of every month in the wee town of Baysville at the Baysville Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m.

We’re a small group of published and yet-to-be-published writers. Our meetings are informal but motivational.

We encourage writers to find publishers for their work by sharing information about publishers/writing competitions.

We spend our time together reading and critiquing our work. The writing is diverse but always interesting.

Prose writers, non-fiction writers and poets make up our membership. There is no admission fee.

Visiting authors are ALWAYS welcome. If you come, please bring hard copies of your work for critiquing. I’m interested in hearing from other writers’ groups, as well.
