The 'Scribblers' Second Creative Writing Workshop will be held in the Community Centre in Laurencetown on the 17th of November at 11 am.
There will be four workshops covering most areas of writing:
Adrain Fox - a well known local poet will facilitate the poetry workshop
Anne Harris - Committee Member of the Creative Writers Network and published author will facilitate the workshop of novel writing
Darrel McCaughey - local playwright will be coaching those interested in preparing their work for TV, radio or stage
Patrick Gray - will take you through the complex structures of short story writing, from character building to story climax.
The high point of the of the day will be the announcement of the Millennium Scribblers Poetry & Short Story Competition, followed by a reading of the winning entry and an open mic session if the interest is there.
The cost of the work shop is £5 (£4 concession rate) this will include work shop session, tea/coffee and assorted sandwiches, reading and open mic session.
