POTTERING ABOUT AT LA MAISON VERTE - 2006

SAT 26 AUGUST – SAT 2 SEPTEMBER 2006

In what might well be our last season (who knows…someone might buy the place!), we’re making the most of friends with children, friends who are school-teachers or university lecturers, or friends who’ve left it too late to come on the 8 - 15 July week (it’s just about full) by offering a week of arty-farty activities at the end of the school holiday period.

The idea behind this week is slightly different from the July Pottering week: we’ll be offering morning workshops for adults or parents with children to take part in together (no, we’re not offering full-time child-care! but we can of course, arrange for baby-sitting) If you know you can’t come but you have friends who might just enjoy it, then please pass this on …

IN A NUTSHELL…

Early morning Yoga, followed by Painting and drawing classes with the ever-gloriously talented local artist Catherine Pergay, ceramics and mucking about with clay with professional potterer Susan Davis-Paturel - and doing who knows what with Teddy Hutton, resident hunk and 3D specialist.

Alternatively, just sit, read, write or gaze into space by the two swimming pools - one of which will be kept specially quiet for readers and dreamers.

Nicola will cook sensationally fabulous candlelit dinners and ply you with fine wines and … the total cost for this nirvana is a mere £375 per adult for all tuition, breakfast and evening meal. Under 5’s: free, over 5’s and under 16’s: £100

We have up to fifteen rooms available, plus four apartments - so it’s on a first come, first served basis. And don’t forget – tell your nicest friends if you can’t get here yourself.
