I'm always very interested to hear the history of writers' groups. For example, how old is your group? I thought that Brentwood at 67 was one of the oldest but have just heard from Huddersfield and they are 75! Well worth celebrating!

A very good writing friend of mine, Syvia Kent, also researches groups and their history so do contact her as well. She writes a wonderful blog at www.sylviakent.blogspot.com/ and would love to hear from you. Sylvia is also a member of the Society of Women Writers and Journalists.

If your group is still young, don't feel excluded! I always love to hear anything and everything about groups - whether you are large or small, old or young - about your activities, events, competitions.
