Havant and District Writers' Circle


Havant and District Writers' Circle meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7.30 - 10 pm at Havant Arts Centre (first floor), East Street, Havant, Hants PO9 1BS. There are no meetings in August and no meeting on the third Wednesday of December.

The Circle aims to encourage all forms of writing - short stories, novels, articles, poetry - but fiction tends to be the most popular form in the group. Members are free to read their work on manuscript evenings (or have them read if they are too nervous!) and receive constructive criticism.

Havant have regular speakers both within the Circle and from outside. New members are always welcome.
