Be surprised by your own stories. Whether you write for self expression or to get published, Gay Men Writing is devised to inspire you, and provide you with the tools to keep writing. You’ll be encouraged, through writing exercises, visualisations and storytelling, to tap into your own stories as a rich resource for fiction and non-fiction writing. We’ll also look at different ways of telling stories, and at what moves and blocks a story. Explore your creativity in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
Shaun Levin has published over 30 stories and essays in anthologies and journals
in England, the USA, and Canada. Most recently in The Slow Mirror, The Gay Times Book of Short Stories, Afterwords, Best Gay Erotica 2002, Harrington Gay Men’s Fiction Quarterly, and Best South African Short Stories. He’s been teaching writing since 1992. Time Out said his writing "stands out a mile."
