Creative Writing in France (Course 29)
WHAT sort of writer are you? What sort of writer do you dream of becoming? Have you found your writing voice? If you have not written before, do you want to find out what that voice might be?

This residential creative writing workshop is the first to be hosted by the French House Party Experience. This exciting fact or fiction course will help you develop your creative skills and explore your unique powers of expression.The course incorporates exercises that enable you to access the conscious and unconscious mind to free the imagination and develop the voice that is uniquely your own. This week will include:

• 2.5 hour morning workshops
• private one-to-one tutorials to help students begin, shape and edit their material
• techniques to start writing or develop work-in-progress
• a chance to initiate pieces that lead to more extended works of prose or poetry
• the opportunity to have writing done in the workshop read and discussed
• "Open Mic" sessions before dinner for those who wish to share work (voluntary)

The workshop will be conducted in a friendly, constructive atmosphere and is open to anyone with a desire to write, from beginners to experienced writers. All tutored sessions are voluntary. Any writer wishing to use the time to write will be free to do so.

HOW TO GET THERE: The nearest airports are Carcassonne which is 20 minutes away (Ryanair only) or Toulouse which is 45 minutes (various carriers).
