Our tutor, Anna Lunk, has been running Creative Writing courses and workshops for over twenty years. She is looking forward to returning to Le Clos Enchante for another week of writing, walking, dining and laughter.

Whether you are a practicing writer hoping to explore new territory, or a complete novice seeking that essential kick start this is the ideal holiday providing a winning combination of enthusiastic hosts, supportive tutor and inspiring surroundings.

Following breakfast we will start the day with a short period of quiet reflective writing. We will spend the remainder of the morning working together on a variety of guided exercises taking inspiration from our surroundings. The meadow bordering the river is a tranquil spot for close observation of flowers and insects. The deserted hillside village might conjure ghosts from the past. The cloisters of St.Lizier lend themselves to personal reflection and imaginative journeys. Sitting at one of the many cafes in St.Girons allows ample opportunity for people watching.

Most afternoons are free allowing opportunities for personal tutorials, reading and writing – indoors or out, walking along local footpaths and quiet country roads, or socializing with your fellow guests.

The week culminates in a special evening when you will have the opportunity to read your work to the group and fellow guests.

This is a holiday with a writing focus, but there’s plenty of time for eating, drinking and relaxing in the informal house party atmosphere of Le Clos Enchante.
