Enfield Writers' Workshop is a friendly group of people interested in every type of writing. We meet at SALISBURY HOUSE ARTS CENTRE, BURY STREET WEST, EDMONTON, LONDON N9 between 8 and 10 p.m. - on Tuesdays for writing and Fridays for reading. Members read some of their work and the group discusses it. Whether you are interested in poetry, prose, plays, journalism, short stories or novels, why not come along with something you have written, or just listen as the other members read their work and get a flavour of what we do.

There is a small charge for each attendance plus a nominal annual membership which helps fund regular parties which we hold at Salisbury House,
as well as the printing of anthologies of members' work, etc.

We also run writing evenings at Salisbury House, when a member sets a subject, and the other members write on the topic and then read what they have written. In addition, there are creative writing classes in term time, taken by a qualified tutor. Phone for details.
