Aims and Objectives
The Dubliners Literary Study Circle was founded for the purpose of studying Irish and Anglo-Irish literature.
Membership of the circle is £30.00 per year, equivalent to 58 pence per week. So, whether you are 16 or 80 and have a geniune interest in Irish literature, do come along. New members are always welcome.
The Association is a non-profit making group, and funds raised are used exclusively to promote a greater knowledge and understanding of Irish literature past and present.
If you like to read and discuss literature, you will be quite at home in the circle. The meetings are informal and relaxed, and last from 8 - 9.45 pm with a ten minute break at 9 pm. What we do is read and discuss the writings of a particular writer, leading usually to a good stimulating discussion.
