Bestselling author and award-winning writer, Simon Whaley, will be leading a
weekend course for non-fiction writers at The Hayes Conference Centre,
Swanwick, Alfreton, Derbyshire, between 13th and 15th April 2012.
Called ‘Seven Steps to Publication Success’ this informal and fun course
offers new writers, as well as those looking to develop their non-fiction skills
further, an opportunity to discover how to give an editor what they want
thereby increasing their chances of publication.
The course will look at letters and fillers, articles, article structures, magazine
analysis, how to angle ideas, what extra information to provide, as well as
dealing with query letters, boxouts, side bars and illustrations.
Prices for the weekend course start from £219 and include all meals,
accommodation and tuition, and there’s also time for relaxation, or extra
writing, if that’s what delegates want!
