The Croydon Writers' Circle meets twice monthly in the evenings: on the second Monday of the month at Croydon Clocktower in Katharine Street, Croydon and on the fourth Monday of the month at the United Reformed Church Hall, Addiscombe Grove, East Croydon. These meetings start at 8 p.m. There are also afternoon meetings.

The Circle aims to further writers' careers. The monthly workshop (The Word Factory) at the United Reformed Church Hall provides opportunity for members to discuss work in progress and to improve their writing abilities. There are also regular writing competitions and social events. At the Clocktower meetings we have guest speakers drawn from all areas of the literary world.

The Croydon Writers' Circle has produced an Anthology entitled "Croydon As We See It". This is available for £3 (including postage.
