Coventry Writers Group meets at Flannery’s Bar in the Lower Holyhead Road in Coventry.

Our members write in a wide variety of styles and genres, poetry, plays, novels, short stories and magazine articles. Some of our current members are published authors of children’s books and some write purely for their own pleasure.

We discuss all aspects of writing, from punctuation to structure to plot lines and much else, and listen to anyone who wants to read their work for discussion. The Chair may set a challenge for the following month to see if we can write out of our comfort zones. You can bring something to read on your first visit if you would like to, but it is not compulsory.

New members are always welcome.
