You could also try your local village college. There are a number of these in the vilages around Cambridge offering adult education progs. Playwrighting

Special courses and workshops for playwrights are sometimes organised by The Cambridge Drama Centre and The Junction:

CB1 and CB2 (Mill Rd/Norfolk St) hold performance poetry events.

Borders, Heffers, Waterstones and Cambridge University organise visiting writers events and, in the case of Borders, discussion groups.
