The meetings are run on a less formal basis. The emphasis is on discussion and participation with the meeting dividing into smaller groups to discuss various subjects. This affords opportunities for members to express themselves and to find out the views of other members in a warm and supportive atmosphere. Underlying this is a sense of purpose to help members in their quest for publication. However, it is also recognised that some authors write for pleasure. Whether you write short stories, articles, poetry, novels, non fiction or life stories, we think we can help you.

We meet at Pelhams in North Bournemouth on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month (except August) at 7 30 p.m. The meetings last about 2 hours. Pelhams is a Community Centre run by Bournemouth Council and has a small bar. It can be reached by 5a, 5b, 4a and 2b buses. There is ample car parking.
