Bermondsey Square Writers was launched in January 2011. It is an informal workshop and gathering for writers based at Woolfson & Tay, the independent bookshop, café and gallery in Bermondsey Square, London, SE1. BSW is an opportunity to meet other writers in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each workshop will be a combination of on-the-spot composition, presenting works in progress and developing ideas. BSW is about playing with words and is open to anyone who writes, whether fiction, non-fiction, scripts and even an occasional dabbler.

Hosted by prize-winning writer Nadia Al Yafai, it launched in January 2011 and meets on the last Sunday of each month from 12 noon - 3 p.m. Cost: £3.
