This award was established to support emerging practitioners in experimental theatre. It is intended to encourage creatiuve artists, by enabling an artist or a group, at the early stages of their career, to realise a fully resourced professional production. In addition to the £30,000, recipients of the award receive a three week run at Riverside Studios and a mentor is attached to the project. Applications are sought for next year's award. Deadline is 20th February 2004.

Winner of the £30,000 Award is "Cue Deadly" and will be presented at the Riverside Studios from 17 November to 6 December (Box Office tel: 020 8237 1111).
