THE WHITE VALENTINE'S HEART
by
Zara Marsden

Back to Ashton Writers home page

Once upon a time there lived a white heart. She dreamed of taking part in a romantic Valentine's Day. She was desperate for help because she wanted to be red. She had heard of a professor. Surely, such a clever man could turn lead into gold.

One day she went to the professor's laboratory to see if he could help her and he said yes. She was really happy to hear that he could help.

He said, "you sit there and I will go and get you a potion."

So he went to get a potion.

He said, "drink this, but drink it quickly."

So she drank it quickly and suddenly she turned red. She was really amazed that she turned red so quickly.

Suddenly she woke up and found that she had turned into a red heart and that she was on a Valentine's card. When she was on the card she gave a cheeky smile.

And she lived happily ever after.
